My Weekend in Pop Culture

These are the pop culture goodies I consumed this weekend.  Without further ado!

wd4The Walking Dead, Season 4: J. and I got super, super into the show over the past few weeks, and we finally caught up this weekend.  Now we have to wait a month for the new season.  I actually don’t know what to do now that we’ve finished–I’m that into it right now.

Edge of Tomorrow: We also watched the Tom Cruise sci-edgeoftomorrowfi version of Groundhog Day.  It’s one of those movies that got good reviews but bombed at the theater, and it was fun, I guess?  But it felt super long and I find Cruise to be a creepy dude no matter what he’s doing.

gandoatesGarfunkel and Oates: I watched the first few episodes of this weird, funny, super feminist show with my best friend this weekend.  It was hilarious, and totally up our alley.  I can’t wait to watch more.

  1. The full extent of my pop culture was abysmal, I watched X factor, laughed, wished I could sing and even shed a tear (not for my singing) Books on the other hand. I read Lesley Pearse survivor and it was a scruptious, tear jerking, action packed book ;set during 2 world war with a believable courageous Mari. Brilliantly put together. I then read one night in Italy. A not to be missed book by Lucy Diamond funny and funny and made me want to go back there now! Ciao grazie.
