It’s Monday, What Are You Reading?

It’s Monday, What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.  The purpose of the meme is to discuss books we are reading this week, as well as books we completed the previous week.

Books I Completed This Week:
Between the Lines by Jodi Picoult and Samantha VanLeer: Cute, but the more I thought about it, the less I liked it.  Review to come.
What I Saw and How I Lied by Judy Blundell: This was an almost perfect read.  It was fabulous.  Review to come.
Marcelo in the Real World by Francisco X. Stork: Read for social justice class.

Books I’m Reading This Week:
Amelia Anne is Dead and Gone by Kat Rosenfield: So excited to finally be reading this.

What are you reading this week?

    1. It was cute, and this one is definitely not one of her standard sad, twist-ending tales. This one is pretty straightforward and will appeal to younger readers on the YA spectrum.

  1. I’m really looking forward to seeing your review of What I saw and How I lied…am now following you 🙂

What did you think of Marcelo?

    1. Thanks for the follow!

I ended up really loving Marcelo in the Real World. I was surprised by how much I loved it.
