Early Nerd Special is a blog where I review books, movies, and TV shows, as well as muse on various happenings in pop culture. I try to review every book that I read, but that doesn’t always happen.
Review Policy:
I will gladly accept books for review. I have a Kindle and can accept electronic galleys as well. My preferred genres are literary fiction, women’s interest/women’s fiction, contemporary YA, and dystopian/post-apocalyptic YA. I will happily accept books from other genres, but make no guarantees. In general, I try to post a review for an ARC on or around the release date. I also cross-post my reviews to my Goodreads page. I am not currently accepting self-published books.
The reviews I post reflect my honest opinion and may contain negative or critical statements about the book. These reviews will never be malicious but instead aim to provide a thoughtful, critical look at the book in order to better inform other readers. Accepting a copy of a book for review does not guarantee a review, nor does it guarantee an unfailingly positive review.
