In all honesty, comparing this book to LA Candy almost put me off it entirely. But I love Gilmore Girls and Postcards from the Edge (though I’m not sure who that last part is for–what readership are they going for here?) enough to give that one a pass. In all honesty, if this one does the mother-daughter relationship well enough, I’m willing to overlook a lot of stuff.
Either way, it looks to be a fun, Hollywood focused family drama for contemporary YA fans.
