It’s Monday, What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. The purpose of the meme is to discuss books we are reading this week, as well as books we completed the previous week.
Books I Completed Last Week:
The Punk Ethic by Timothy Decker: Still trying to figure out what the plot of this one was.
The Boy on Cinnamon Street by Phoebe Stone: I loved this contemplative, quiet little book that straddles the MG/YA line.
Tilt by Ellen Hopkins: I definitely don’t get the Hopkins-hype. There was some good stuff here, but talk about being WAY too long.
Endangered by Eliot Schrefer: Loved this one. Loved it.
No-Name Baby by Nancy Bo Flood: This was a quiet little historical fiction. I liked it, but it wasn’t a standout.
Fighting for Dontae by Mike Castan: An easy, emotionally resonant read for reluctant readers. I liked this one.
Crazy by Amy Reed: I really liked this one. A great, fair portrayal of bi-polar disorder.
Books I’m Reading This Week:
Who I Kissed by Janet Gurtler: Still working on this one. I don’t know why it got set aside, because I’m enjoying it.
34 Pieces of You by Carmen Rodrigues: I’m not sold on this one yet.
Narc by Crissa-Jean Chappell: I’m not sure about this one, either.
What are you reading this week?

Interesting mix. that punk one now made me curious

Lots of reading! I keep hearing amazing things about Endangered, I can’t wait to get it! Who I Kissed is also in my TBR list, glad to hear it’s good.
I actually got Tilt this weekend from the YA Lit Symposium – I wanted to meet her but she never showed up for the author signing.
Is it worth reading?
Whatcha readin’ this week @ the Brunette Librarian
I haven’t read any of the books you mentioned, but looks like you had a pretty good week in reading – and I hope you have another one
I’m reading Salvage the Bones and looking forward to clearing away some of the books that I’ve been wanting to read all year.
