It’s Monday, What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey. The purpose of the meme is to discuss books we are reading this week, as well as books we completed the previous week.
Books I Completed Last Week:
Every Day by David Levithan: I liked this one, but I worry about the weird decision to do so much fat-shaming at the end. Review to come.
Small Medium at Large by Joanne Levy: Cute middle grade. Review to come.
Under the Banner of Heaven by John Krakauer: This one took me a long time to read, but I really enjoyed it. I’m not sure if I’ll review it on the blog.
Books I’m Reading This Week:
Revolutionary Road by Richard Yates: I loved Easter Parade, so I might as well read his most famous work, right?
I’ll Scream Later by Marlee Matlin: I’m kind of on a Matlin-kick right now.
What are you reading this week?

The fat shaming is the reason I won’t be reading Every Day, no matter how much good praise it’s gotten. I have enough body issues of my own regarding my weight. I don’t need to be made to feel even worse.
Don’t you just love Marlee Matlin??? She’s fantastic!
Happy reading this week! Whatcha readin’ this week @ the Brunette Librarian
I loved Every Day so much! And the ending was well…interesting.
Happy reading!
