It’s Monday, What are you Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Sheila at One Person’s Journey Through A World Of Books to discuss what we are reading this week, as well as books completed the previous week.
I read a lot last week but am woefully behind on reviews because of NaNoWriMo (I hit 50,000 words last night though, much to my surprise and delight). Here’s how the week went:
Books I Completed Last Week:
Not That Kind of Girl by Siobhan Vivian: I devoured this book. So fierce was my love that I found myself thinking about the characters all the time.
Feeling Sorry for Celia by Jaclyn Moriarty: This book was such a pleasant surprise. I wish that this had been my introduction to Jaclyn Moriarty.
Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard: I’ll admit that I saw the show first and then picked this up. I’ll read the next one in the series, but I think I might like the TV show even more.
Jane Austen: A Life Revealed by Catherine Reef: I received an electronic ARC of this from the publisher. It was a great read–and it’s being marketed to teens, which is awesome.
Books I’m Reading This Week:
Sex at Dawn by Christopher Ryan: I’ve been on the wait list for this one at the library forever.
Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick: I can’t explain it. Hush, Hush was so problematic and so worrisome. I blame morbid curiosity.
